[rion is a very ... well, at first he was seemingly unmotivated in his lessons. the problem was less that he didn't want to, but more a just... total lack of self-confidence; the boy sometimes gets mistaken for a girl, is small, is thin... and he is generally just not what one would consider keyblade material.
ignore sora, roxas, xion, etc. the point is that he's a tiny thing and scared. but ... his most recent teacher, well. she'd promised him a favor if he successfully cast some spells. just a favor. and she'd said it so nicely and sweetly that he'd pretty much done the equivalent of grinding out EXP just to be able to successfully cast fire, blizzard, and thunder.
he doesn't know what his reward is. ... he's not sure why it's happening in her room. he is entirely unaware of the "favor" that she is going to give him.
